Challenge
A vessel sold for scrap had to be delivered in full compliance with the European Union Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SRR). It was critical to manage the process with complete documentation and yard coordination without creating any legal risk.
Solution
We carried out the IHM check, completion of missing documents and hazardous-material verification. On the owner’s behalf we handled recycling-yard coordination, SRFP checks and preparation of the handover procedures.
Result
The handover was completed without delay. The recycling operation was started without any legal nonconformity arising.
