Challenge
A 420-tonne process module was scheduled to be loaded onto a barge. Before the operation, an independent verification of the lift plan was requested.
Solution
We carried out the lift-plan review, crane-capacity check, certification check of the rigging equipment, ground-bearing-pressure calculations, weather-limitation analysis and risk assessment.
Result
The operation was carried out safely. No equipment damage or personnel injury occurred.
